I have been teaching since I was in secondary school. I helped my colleagues to understand several subjects especially Physics and Mathematics. Teaching was among the part time jobs I did when I was in the university. Since I graduated from the university, I have taught Physics and Mathematics in several schools. Our first year in the university called "100 level" is equivalent to Advance level. We had an equivalence of A level Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The remaining three years spent are used to go deeper into different aspects of physics and related mathematical courses. Having a bachelor's degree also means one has already mastered A level. Beside solving calculations and studying scientific concepts, I have interest in working with computers. I have graphics design and website design skills. I also work with computer programming and electronic circuits. I have prepared students for senior school Certificate examinations several times and they have always came out in flying colours. Many of them made distinctions even when the examinations were generally regarded as being difficult. Most of them are now in universities studying courses of their choices. I have been able to combine my knowledge of Physics and Mathematics with computer skills to deliver a great learning experience for my students. I have also been marking scripts for external examinations, meaning I know what the examiners expect from the students.

I also try to relate complex theories to real-life situations. Remember how difficult it was the first time your physics teacher said you had to break forces down into components in order to use Newton's Second Law? Or when they asked you to find the maxima and minima of a complicated function? I sure do - I struggled with those things as well. But I found that with good teachers and some hard work, I was able to master difficult concepts. Through my struggle, I learned how to effectively instruct students in physics and math.
Teaching and tutoring have been my passion since high school. I used to tutor students after school because I loved to see that look of "ahh I get it now" on students' faces. A decade later, it has become my passion and career.
I am a Ph.D. candidate in physics, with MS/BS degrees already in Physics, and through earning my degrees I have obtained a deep understanding of the field, as well as plenty of experience teaching it. My enthusiasm for teaching physics and math is apparent in my tutoring sessions. This makes students excited to learn and therefore more receptive to the concepts.
