Le lezioni, individuali e calibrate sulle esigenze dei singoli studenti, mirano ad impartire un metodo di lavoro che renda il discente autonomo nello studio delle culture e delle lingue classiche. La metodologia adottata è quella della grammatica comparata, basata sul confronto tra le lingue antiche e moderne, così da cogliere attraverso analogie e differenze, la modernità delle prime. Tale metodologia richiede, inevitabilmente, un potenziamento delle conoscenze e delle competenze di base nella lingua madre, in grado di favorire un approccio più consapevole alle strutture delle lingue antiche.

HI! I'm Valentina, nice to meet you! I am an economist, risk and compliance consultant and teacher of Latin, Greek and mathematics. I graduated in business economics and management from Bocconi in 2016, I obtained a Master's degree in European Studies in 2017 and a master's degree in International Relations in 2018 from LUISS. My work experience develops in consultancy, mainly technology and audit, and in 2013 my teaching adventure began between Rome and Milan, immediately after finishing high school. Since then I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, coming from different parts of Italy. My experience has taught me that each student is unique, with their own strengths and challenges, and this has helped me develop a personalized approach to tailoring lessons to each student's specific needs. My lessons are held both individually and in groups, from middle schools to university students and then to couples of adults who simply want to integrate their training to discover the deep roots of the language that we all speak today. I am excited to share my passion for these classical languages ​​with students who wish to learn them or improve their skills. I have dedicated many years to the study and teaching of Latin and Greek and believe that these languages ​​offer a unique opportunity to explore the culture, literature and philosophy of antiquity. Hey there! I am Maria Chiara and I am happy to help you study Latin and Italian. I have studied intensively Latin for 13 years: I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Classical Literature and a Master's degree in Classical and Oriental Antiquities with full honours; during the same period, I have also attended the IUSS Institute, one of the three major Italian schools of excellence, where I studied Neuroscience and obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees with full honours. I have lived and done research in Munich and Paris, where I currently reside until I will finish my Master 2 at the renowned École Pratique des Hautes Études. I am now specialized in Hittite and Babylonian languages. I have worked as an intern at the Egyptian Museum in Turin and I have had several teaching experiences, during which I realised how the most effective method of teaching the humanities is to transmit passion and curiosity. Numerous studies in modern psychology and neuropsychology prove that learning in association with positive emotions is easier, faster and longer lasting, with a greater propensity for practical application of the same knowledge. As my main objective is student satisfaction through the delivery of a lesson that is as useful as it is engaging, I like to enrich the content of school texts with small insights and interesting and little-known facts about authors, works and ideas. I prefer to maintain a cheerful and informal tone during the lesson, but I always try to adapt the language to the age and needs of the student, while paying special attention to the lexical and linguistic enrichment of the student. Before starting the new lesson, I also tend to quickly recap the essential points of the previous one, in order to stimulate long-term memorisation, test the effectiveness of the method and elaborate precise learning strategies, finely tuned to the rhythms and personalities of each individual student.

Salve, mi chiamo Giorgia, sono laureata con Lode in Filologia e storia dell'antichità e ho un'esperienza triennale nell'insegnamento delle lettere classiche presso un istituto privato e privatamente. Grazie al mio percorso universitario e all'esperienza maturata impartendo ripetizioni e lezioni sono in grado di facilitare e sostenere l'apprendimento delle lingue antiche, nonché di assistere ragazzi nello svolgimento di compiti e recuperi estivi.
