I am a university graduate and I am currently studying a second degree (“English Studies – Literature, Culture and Language”) with the UNED (National Distance Learning University).
I have good communication skills acquired in various jobs by dealing directly with clients and students, which is important for conversation classes so that students feel more comfortable.
I make the classes creative, interactive and clear, creating my own teaching materials as long as I see that the student needs it. Apart from that, during classes, I point out the most important mistakes, not only in grammar but also in pronunciation, false friends and lack of vocabulary, reviewing them frequently.
If I see that it is necessary to re-study the vocabulary or even the grammar in more detail, I use online educational tools such as Quizlet, Educaplay and Kahoot, which makes my classes more dynamic, effective and fun.
Sometimes there are students who want proofreading and translations, and I make sure I do them with great attention to detail. It is important, therefore, to highlight that I have a fluent level of Spanish and a good level of Galician (with knowledge of other languages such as French (university level) and Italian (conversation level)).
