About me

Hi, I'm Simon and I qualified as an English teacher at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK in 1997. I've worked non-stop ever since so that means I've taught over 25,000 hours of English to thousands of students. Hi, I'm Simon and I qualified as an English teacher at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK in 1997. I've worked non-stop ever since so that means I've taught over 25,000 hours of English to thousands of students. After qualifying, I worked in Warsaw, Poland from 1997 to 2007, teaching both in companies and a school. In 2007, I returned to the UK and worked in a language school for over 12 years, teaching students from all round the world. I joined Classgap in June 2020 and have helped approximately 90 students improve their language since then. I can teach all levels of English from beginner to advanced but I specialise in exam English and business English. The exams I help students prepare for are: B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE) and the biggest English exam in the world, IELTS. With my business students, I help them speak English more fluently in their work environment. I often use existing materials when teaching but I also enjoy making my own worksheets and Power Point Presentations to adapt my courses to the student's individual needs. I teach online seven days a week. From Monday to Friday I am available from the morning to the evening and on Saturday and Sunday students can book a morning class. • Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, you can cancel booking up to 8 hours before the lesson starts, indicating the reason for the cancellation. We will study each case personally to carry out the refund.

• How do I pay for the lesson?

At the time you select a lesson or package of hours, you will make the payment through our virtual payment service. You have two options:
- Debit / Credit
- Paypal
Once the payment is settled, we'll send you an e-mail with the booking confirmation.

• Can I modify a booking?

Yes, something unexpected can always happen, so you can change the time or day of the lesson. You can do it from your personal area in "Scheduled lessons" through the option "Change date".

• Where are the lessons held?

The class is done through classgap’s virtual classroom. Classgap was developed specifically for educational purposes, including many useful features such as: digital whiteboard, online text editor, webcam, screen sharing and many more. View virtual classroom
