Γεια σας! My name is Kalliopi. I am a highly experienced tutor of Greek as a foreign/second language to both adults and children and I hold a degree in teaching Greek as a foreign/second language. Whatever your needs are ― starting discovering the language, improving your conversational and grammar skills, getting the official certificate in the Greek language (for adults and children), or learning Greek for professional reasons ― I am here to help you. According to your language skills and your experience, we will create together an enjoyable teaching-learning environment in order to achieve your goals and communicate fluently in Greek. Our lessons will include cultural knowledge, geography, music, food recipes across Greece and everything else that you are interested in! My ten-years experience includes teaching Modern Greek to adults and to students of primary and secondary education in Paris, the UK, the US and Greece both in-person and online. I also worked for five years at the Greek School of Glasgow as a teacher of the Greek language to both teenagers and adults and as a coordinator and examiner of the Certificate of Attainment in Greek and the Edexcel Pearson Qualifications for Modern Greek in the UK.
