Melanie is hands-down the best Spanish teacher I could've ever asked for. She's always prepared with tailor-made lesson materials, and I never feel shy when practicing my Spanish with her. Melanie has helped my confidence with Spanish so much that I've even managed to spend a couple of months in Colombia and not feel like a complete tourist! She's a medical doctor, so she brings that perfect blend of a doctor's heart-felt care and professionalism to her Spanish lessons. As a doctor myself, I think that her medical background is what sets Melanie apart. Being a doctor in Miami means that the majority of patients that I see are Spanish-speaking only, and Melanie has helped me connect with my patients on a level that I otherwise would not have been able to do so if I had merely used a translator from the hospital language services. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this teacher.
