Hello! I am John W. I am an educator from the United States. I received bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish from the University of Central Arkansas in 2014. I also hold a 120 hour TEFL certificate from Premier TEFL. I have 9 years of experience in the field of education in various capacities. I gained 3 years of experience as an ESL teacher in Colombia, South America. I have also tutored both English and Spanish online since 2020. I have taught children, adolescents, adults, and even teachers. In addition, I have studied abroad in Costa Rica and lived in Ecuador from 2021 until the present. My lessons are designed to meet the individual needs of each student. My approach to tutoring is similar in both English and Spanish. I present my students with the essential grammar rules and vocabulary we need to know to make us successful at language learning, comprehension, and conversation. Then we complete reading, listening, speaking, and writing activities to see these concepts in action and apply them ourselves.
