Hello, my name is Corinne, I have been teaching on Classgap since December 2021. I obtained my TEFL certificate 3 years ago, where I started my journey of teaching English online. I have loved being a teacher on this platform, and meeting so many people from all over Spain, South America, and Europe. Teaching online is different from classrooms, and way more interesting, with much more talk time. One of my most effective methods is the communicative language teaching style. This is where I will teach the English language based on the types of situations my students will find themselves in whilst going about their general daily lives. I find this to be highly effective because the students can then put into place what they have learnt once they leave the classroom. The second style I use is a hybrid style where I will teach the subject using my knowledge and my life experiences whilst staying within the boundaries of the curriculum. This enables me to stay flexible based on the educational needs and learning styles of the students I am responsible for. We do classes with lots of speaking, learning new vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, as well as prepare for exams. I have a very flexible time table, and I will always try and help students find a time to suit their needs. Corinne is an excellent teacher and very punctual. It is obvious that she has a lot of experience and patience. The classes were quite satisfactory, I learned a lot of vocabulary and phrases that will improve my conversation and writing. The classes have an orderly structure and she prepares them based on the topics of interest to the student. Learning English with her is fun, I will definitely continue attending her classes. / Corinne es una excelente profesora y muy puntual. Se nota que tiene bastante experiencia y paciencia para la docencia. Las clases fueron bastante satisfactorias, aprendí bastante vocabulario y frases que sirven para mejorar mi conversación y redacción. Las clases tienen una estructura ordenada y ella las prepara en base a los temas de interés del alumno. Aprender inglés con ella es divertido, definitivamente continuaré asistiendo a sus clases.

What I find most remarkable about her teaching methodology is her ability to identify intriguing and pertinent topics to discuss during class.
