As a technique teacher, my teaching is based on the Taubman approach to piano playing, and incorporates other approaches by pedagogues such as George Kochevitsky, Abby Whiteside, Tobias Matthay, and more. With this approach I can give you a solid, comfortable, injury-free control over the instrument.

He always guides his students, as well as colleagues who seek his advice, with patience, humor, and deep insight. He has a great ear for musical detail, the ability to diagnose and solve technical issues, and the ability to distill complex music theory concepts into smaller, comprehensible bits for the uninitiated. I cannot recommend Brendan highly enough as a music educator.
