I enjoy working with professionals from a variety of sectors helping them to enhance their work and find their path to career success and satisfaction. I offer classes varying from business English, CV and interview preparation to conversational and subject specific classes, as well as motivational career guidance sessions to improve communication with colleagues and clients, and/or to uncover ways to advance, pivot or change careers. I have 14 years experience in private tutoring in both British and American English and 4 years working with clients to acquire English as an additional language in private lessons and in a language academy in Spain. My business experience in the United States and the UK, as well as my degree in psychology, allows me to focus classes on the most important aspects for conducting business and communicating well with clients and colleagues, addressing the subtle differences in communications that can develop and enhance close working relationships. I offer Business English classes for executives, directors and employees for all levels of English. As well, I have assisted many professionals in their search for employment by creating and translating CVs/Resumés (in UK or US format) and preparing for interviews, from which my clients have secured positions as National Directors in their fields, Wealth and Business Consultants in the finance sector, and sales, among others. Each class is personalized to the needs of the client. My English classes focus on pronunciation, fluency in conversation, general and subject specific vocabulary, as well as grammar. Business and career guidance sessions may focus on career advancement or changes, exploring management styles to formulate or define your own style, editing and preparation for presentations, projects, and translation (from Spanish to English) of business materials, documents and even books.
