Hi there! Welcome to my profile! I am Andrea Andy, I come from the beautiful and diverse country called South Africa. I have many hobbies and talents which define me and I am sure you do as well! I have both online and offline teaching experience, I have taught students from the ages of 7-12, as well as adults in various subjects. I have a 120hour TEFL Certificate. This certificate has equipped me with the best knowledge for obtaining excellence as a tutor. Lessons with me will be relaxed and comfortable. Lessons are tailored to meet each students needs and goals. I prefer Conversational English as this is a good way to learn articulation, pronunciation and grammar. This allows my students to be themselves and have fun, while learning this amazing language. A learner centered approach as well as visual aids will be incorporated. All in all, the things I help my students with include: - Casual conversations - Job Interviews - Formal conversations - Confidence in speaking English - How to talk about hobbies - How to talk about their careers/jobs - Pronunciation - Reading Comprehension - Basic English for Kids During classes, I allow my students to make mistakes and grow from them. I correct my students in a gentle way and motivate them to continue learning the language. I get to know my students and treat them like a friend. I like making my lessons fun and engaging as much as possible. I understand the struggles of learning a new language.
