Mi nombre es Raquel y tengo 23 años. Soy graduada en Historia del Arte, con un máster en investigación artística y varios cursos de Arteterapia, así como experiencia laboral en Educación Artística infanto-juvenil. Actualmente estudio el máster de Profesorado de E.S.O. y enseñanza de idiomas en Granada. Estoy abierta a impartir clases de todo tipo de asignaturas de Humanidades (Historia, Historia del Arte, Filosofía, Literatura, etc.), así como de inglés e italiano (hasta B2). Hasta nivel universitario. En cuanto al resto de ramas, podría ayudar con los deberes hasta nivel de la E.S.O. Normalmente, he trabajado en clases de 45mins - 1h, donde la mitad del tiempo se emplea para explicar y profundizar en el temario de forma dialogada con el alumno, y la otra mitad para proponer actividades (ya sean ejercicios o dinámicas no formales) que permitan al alumno comprender y asimilar mejor los conceptos básicos. Intento que el tiempo que pasamos juntos sea divertido a la par que constructivo, y estoy dispuesta a amoldarme a cualquier necesidad o preferencia que el alumno tenga. Me considero una persona muy cercana, siempre con una sonrisa y bastante reflexiva. Me encanta tratar con niños y adolescentes, y considero que me suelo entender muy bien con ellos. Además, se adaptarme a todo tipo de perfiles y horarios :) La única condición que pongo es que sea en Granda capital.

I have taught A-Level Politics and History for over 20 years. In that time, I have built up a large amount of experience across a wide range of subjects, teaching various topics and working with different exam boards. As a result, I have learnt to adapt and deliver new content quickly. In Politics, I have a specialist knowledge of the Edexcel specification this naturally includes British Politics (as all national specifications do). In my career, I have always focused upon the international route as the third paper. I also follow US Politics, so would have little difficulty in supporting you with this route. In History, I have followed both the Edexcel and the AQA specifications. Over the years I have taught a wide variety of topics. These include Weimar and Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, the Soviet Union and the Cold War, Franco and the Spanish Civil War, Israel and the Middle East, the First and Second World War, the Crimean War, the French Revolution and Napoleon, Louis XIV (France), 19th Century America, the Anglo-Saxons and the Norman Invasion, the Crusades and Political and Social Change in Britain during the 20th Century (my specialism). So, over the years I have learnt to turn my hand to anything! In the past I have provided maternity cover on the GCSE programme. As a result, I can easily adapt my skills to supporting History at GCSE. For university students, I can support you with your writing and other assessments. In the past, I have supported new undergraduates who have struggled to make the transition from school to university. In terms of sessions, I want you to take the lead. In the first session we can discuss your needs, and I can tailor the content of the following sessions accordingly. As your requirements change, we can adapt the teaching.

¡Qué tal! Soy Guillermo, abogado por la Universidad del Valle de México y con diplomado en Recursos humanos en la Universidad de Concordia en Canadá. Desde chico una de mis pasiones es la lectura, en especial la historia y la novelas. De 2002 a 2005 di clases en dos universidades de la Ciudad de México y a partir de ahí me quedó el gusto y el deseo de retomar esta actividad. En mi niñez y juventud tuve la oportunidad de estar en escuelas "activas" donde la interacción profesor-alumno es fundamental para lograr los mejores resultados de aprendizaje y hacer del tiempo de estudio un espacio ameno para los participantes. Por eso, para abordar los temarios baso las clases en la interacción con el objetivo de que las opiniones, aficiones, gustos y experiencias de los participantes faciliten y enriquezcan el aprendizaje. Desde hace 42 años soy aficionado al futbol americano (Vaquero de corazón), al soccer (Americanista) y al beisbol (Dodger), además de amar los caballos y, por supuesto, cuidarlos y montarlos.
