Me adentré en el mundo de la Ciencia cuando en el año 2007 puse por primera vez mis pies en la Facultad de Ciencias de Granada para estudiar Biología. En ese momento, no sabía cuan duro sería adquirir todos los conocimientos que allí se me exigirían. No obstante, con mayor o menor valentía superé todos los obstáculos con pequeños fracasos y algún éxito. A medida que se acercaba el vertiginoso final de mis estudios académicos, una persona muy inteligente, a la que admiro, me abrió la puerta a los lenguajes de programación como C++ y Fortran, al tiempo que me dejaba caer cosas sobre entornos Linux, Arduino y Raspberry Pi. Una vez pasado el final académico, y distintas etapas laborales; decidí aprender a programar desde cero, de verdad, con un papel y un lápiz, realizando cursos presenciales y a distancia, y sobre todo leyendo mucho. Aprendí por instinto, por esto y por todo lo anterior, soy una programadora instintiva que tiene como objetivo hacer crecer su carrera entorno a la Computación.
Entre los distintos proyectos que he llevado a cabo destacan los siguientes sistemas, cada uno de los cuales está relacionado con: la medida del nivel de ruido en decibelios en una estancia; el control de parámetros físico-químicos en un cultivo hidropónico y con la monitorización de dichos parámetros ambientales en un invernadero de escala reducida.
Mi tarea como profesora está relacionada con Fundamentos de Computación y con la enseñanza de lenguajes de programación de alto nivel como C/C++, Python para alumnado de iniciación universitaria; con la iniciación a la programación para el internet de las cosas a través de servidor web en ESP-32; con aprender a controlar la microntroladora Arduino para desarrollar pequeños proyectos de carácter científico; con la introducción de alumnado de primaria a la programación mediante bloques en Scratch 3.0 y a la robótica con bloques y código en Tinkercad.
Como docente de Ingeniería Computacional Básica, he iniciado a alumnado de secundaria y de altas capacidades intelectuales en el uso de lenguajes de programación de alto nivel como C/C++ para la resolución de problemas experimentales y matemáticos. Así como en el uso de la microcontroladora Arduino UNO para el desarrollo de pequeños proyectos de robótica.
