Hi, I'm Simone, graduating in Languages, Markets and Cultures of Asia and Mediterranean Africa at the University of Bologna. I obtained my high school diploma from a traditional scientific high school, where I was able to see firsthand how a good method - both in teaching and study - often makes the difference. This is the experience that, in addition to the knowledge acquired especially in mathematics, I want to make available to high school students: my method is based on efficiency and on listening to the student's needs, and the lessons are aimed at filling the gaps and the consolidation of mathematical notions and concepts. I am pleased to be able to offer each student a free meeting, prior to the first lesson, to learn about and illustrate the student's difficulties: I consider this step fundamental in order to be able to work correctly, with serenity and with criteria towards the final objective, that of achieve solid knowledge and competence in the topics that the student requires to cover during lessons. During the lessons (which are held mainly on weekends, but also on Mondays and Thursdays in the afternoon), we will work on active learning: I believe that it is essential to reconcile theory and practice, in order to better assimilate the concepts and truly understand how to put your knowledge into practice; I also believe that it is very important to start from the student's doubts, from the difficulties, and clearly set the objectives to be achieved: the main ones are, clearly, filling both theoretical and practical gaps relating to a specific topic and - why not - perhaps also learning with more light-heartedness and having fun.
