Hi! I'm Riya, an enthusiastic undergraduate student majoring in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Nanyang Technological University. I have a deep passion for both learning and teaching, and I've spent the last year honing my skills as a tutor. My teaching experience has been incredibly rewarding, and I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse group of students, each with unique learning needs and goals. One of my primary areas of focus is mathematics. I enjoy teaching math at various levels, ranging from primary school to A levels. Whether it's foundational arithmetic, algebra, geometry, or more advanced topics like calculus and statistics, I tailor my lessons to match each student's current level and learning style. My approach is to break down complex concepts into simpler, more manageable pieces, ensuring that my students build a solid understanding before moving on to more challenging material. I believe that math can be fun and engaging when taught in a relatable way, and I strive to make each session enjoyable and productive. In addition to math, I also teach beginner-level Python programming. Python is a versatile and powerful language that's great for beginners and offers a gateway into the world of coding. My Python lessons cover the basics, including syntax, data types, control structures, and functions. I also introduce students to practical applications like data manipulation and simple algorithms. My goal is to provide a strong foundation that students can build upon as they explore more advanced programming topics or specific fields like data science or web development.
