Actualmente soy el director del programa de producción musical de una institución educativa en Bogotá - Colombia y soy especialista de producto de las marcas de tecnología musical Native Instruments e IK Multimedia.
He dictado clases de síntesis de sonido, mezcla, masterización y dominio de diferentes Daws a más de 200 estudiantes y artistas, dentro de los cuales puedo destacar a Santiago Prieto de la agrupación colombiana Monsieur Perine, DJ Moska y Alka Produce, productor de Nampa Básico.

Hola, mis clases trataran estos temas:
- Introducción paso a paso vista sesión ableton live
- Introducción al beat y el trabajo en drum rack
- Ejercicio práctico de realización de beat de 2 min., selección de sonidos, edición y
cuantización en grilla midi y audio, diseño del sonido propio con herramientas básicas en base
a librería de Ableton Live
- Pedir grabaciones ambientales de lo que cada uno quiera para la clase siguiente.
- Librería personal, en base a sonidos ya grabados antes y realización de grabación de voz en
el taller. Ideal que todos tengan fonos con microfono como los de iphone.
- Grabación de voz
- Loop
- Efectos de sonidos (reverb y delay)
- Ejercicio práctico: sumar al beat la voz y otros sonidos de librerías propias, manipular los
efectos y automatizar.
- Introducción a la vista arreglo
- Editar el track en vista arreglo con intro, desarrollo y final, sumando todo lo visto en clases
anteriores.

Hello I'm Matt, an Ex-Abbey Road Studios in-house Recording and Mixing Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience. I have worked with some of the most critically acclaimed artists in the world (Frank Ocean's Blonde, James Blake, Brockhampton, Ezra Collective, Nick Cave)

Currently, I am also diving into the world of mental health where I am in the process of studying to become a counsellor. Here I'm looking to bridge my two worlds together by helping musicians with their underlying emotions and how creativity can be nurtured and encouraged through this process.
Through my professional life in the studio, growing trusting working relationships has always been of upmost importance when embarking on a creative journey together. When tutoring, I integrate these complimentary forces to provide an experience that is nurturing, supportive and tailored to you.
Tutoring experience:
I have been tutoring online one-to-one lessons since leaving Abbey Road Studios about 2 years ago.
I hold a deep passion for music and enjoy building fruitful and effective learning relationships with my students, acting often as a mentor as well as a tutor.
It has been a joy to meet so many students who are bursting with passion and curiosity.

Having studied Music & Sound Recording on the Tonmeister Course (University of Surrey) I have a strong grounding in Music Technology as a subject and can help those looking to supplement their GCSE, A-Level and Degree learning.
Approach:
I employ a student led approach to tutoring and I'm excited to join you on your journey at whatever point you may be at!
We all have our strengths, weaknesses, hurdles and bugbears. I'm here to help you identify, nurture and overcome them whilst learning skills and techniques that will help you 'level-up' in your abilities to create better and better productions, recordings and mixes.
I mainly work in Pro Tools or Ableton Live. Whilst most of the principles I teach are universal, I have found that sessions work better when we are speaking the same DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) language. That being said I have had fruitful teaching experiences with tutees working in Logic, FL Studio etc.
I primarily use Zoom along with screen sharing and real-time audio streaming software.
