Hello, and welcome to ClassGap. My name is Kelvin, and I am here to assist you. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Physics and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics. With over 14 years of experience in education, I currently serve as a mathematics teacher at a British International School. I provide online math tutoring to help students improve their skills and academic performance. As a tutor, I am committed to helping you deepen your understanding of mathematics by being attentive, patient, and thorough. I strive to create an engaging learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels. My goal is to foster a positive and encouraging environment where you feel confident asking any questions, no matter how basic, and know that you will fully understand the material being taught or reviewed. My approach to tutoring is based on building a solid foundational understanding of each topic before advancing to exam-specific preparation. This dual focus on fundamentals and application ensures that students not only understand the theory but also acquire the skills needed to excel in exams. I place strong emphasis on developing exam techniques, covering time management, question interpretation, and linking knowledge to answer questions accurately and with the appropriate level of detail. We couldn’t be happier with Kelvin. If I could I would give him 6 stars! He has great knowledge of a wide range of math topics. Most importantly he makes math fun. Our son says his positive energy is infectious; he now looks forward to his classes…even during the summer holidays. He’s done a fantastic job getting our son ready for the 9th grade.
