Hello! I am Daniela García, a teacher in Performing Arts with an emphasis on Dance and Acting. I have 3 years of experience teaching online or in-person classes to companies, groups, and I have also had personalized processes. My training as a dancer began in 2015 at Golden Dance & Cheer Academy with urban dance, but later on it was gradually nourished by other styles such as Jazz and Ballet. After a few months of training at the academy, I joined the Senior Hip Hop team with which I had the opportunity to compete internationally in the NDTC (National Dance Team Championship) in the Open Hip Hop category (Golde Dance Academy) at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, winning first place representing Colombia. My love for art was so great that I decided to enter the undergraduate program in Performing Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá D.C. I am currently a Master in Performing Arts with an emphasis on Dance and Acting with more than two years of experience teaching children, adolescents, young people and adults. I consider myself a versatile, agile, dedicated and determined performer. I am an honest person capable of promoting a learning path with punctuality, honesty, responsibility and above all creativity, qualities that bring me closer to having clear objectives carried out through order and discipline. My teaching method is linked to the level and age of the student or group of students. It begins with a joint and muscle warm-up of the body, then we see some steps of the technique that will be seen that day, then the choreography will be taught and finally stretching will be done to avoid injuries. For me it is very important to listen to the student before and after class to know where to take the next training sessions. I will be happy to help you achieve everything you set out to do in terms of what you want to achieve on a physical and mental level!
