I am Matteo, a native Italian born to Italian parents. I come from Tuscany where, apart from the accent, Italian is very pure and does not have many variations with the official language. In other parts of Italy, Italian is mixed with dialects, so you may learn a very different version of the language. I work as a receptionist in a hotel. My hobbies are writing poetry, reading in different languages and listening to music from all genres and parts of the world. I want to teach Italian because I have discovered a passion for teaching. A few years ago I had the opportunity to teach a boy how to use Linux, a free operating system for computers. Seeing his progress every time we met filled me with satisfaction. I am still in touch with him and I am proud to see how far he has come. Now that I have improved my English and Spanish, my goal is to feel the same pride in something I am more passionate about.
