About me

Hello, my name is Wycliffe, and I am from Nairobi, Kenya. I am a trained and passionate teacher of Mathematics and Physics with 19 years of experience and counting. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education (Science) from Egerton University. I also have a Master of Engineering in Power and Thermophysics from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. I am friendly and approachable, acknowledging that to be an effective teacher, I have to provide a safe space for my students to raise their concerns and freely ask questions without feeling judged. I get excited and fulfilled when I see my students grow to greatness in their mathematics journey and develop the confidence to pursue mathematics and science-related courses at higher levels. This is why, in the course of my teaching, I empathize with my students, each time putting myself in their shoes to fully comprehend their challenges and help them develop skills to overcome them.
