About me

Friendly French teacher here to help! Why do you wish to learn French? With me you will learn French according to your own needs and goals. Together we can improve your conversation, reading and listening skills in formal and informa French, preparing your exams ,you choose and I adapt my teaching according to your needs and preferences. I endeavour to vary the teaching materials (video, articles, games ...) and be as interactive as possible with you! If you wish, I will also send you some exercises, podcasts and other things to do between classes. ! At the end of every class I will send you a recap, if you have any questions later on, I will always be available to answer them between the classes! :) Together we will build up a learning plan for you and we will check that we are going in the right direction with some quick test every 5 lessons or so. About me : Native French living in sunny Sicily. I have taught French for 10 years. I have a certificate from the Alliance Française and I speak fluent English, Italian and Spanish. Wendy is a wonderful French language teacher. Apart from being very friendly, pleasant, and patient, Wendy is also highly professional, really knows her stuff and is well organised. Wendy tailors the lessons to what I need and splits my lessons across the technical aspects such as grammar, verb conjugation and vocabulary as well as dictation and general conversation skills (we discuss lots of fun and interesting topics). My lessons are always th ... oughtfully prepared by Wendy ahead of time – more of Wendy’s time goes into the lessons than the one hour we spend online together. Wendy also incorporates other resources into the lessons, such as videos, which we listen to (I try to understand) and we discuss. After the lesson Wendy summarises the important points and vocabulary covered, and we revisit these at the start of the next lesson. Wendy has that rare combination of being very personable and pleasant and very professional at the same time. I look forward to my lessons and enjoy them very much. I cannot recommend Wendy highly enough.
