Besides my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Translation and Interpretation in Italy, my home country, in Germany and Austria (Master's degree), I've been teaching for many years now and I've recently founded my own online language school where I teach group as well as private classes in German and English. Thanks to my American family background and the many years spent in Austria and Germany, I now have a near-native level of both English and German, while being an Italian native speaker. Not only does this allow me to teach those languages to speakers of different backgrounds, but it also enables me to have a better understanding of the different challenges students face when learning a new language.
As for my credentials, I've been a member of the Austrian Interpreters and Translators' Association since 2012. Before teaching online, I used to teach in companies and language schools and I did that both in Innsbruck, where I took my major, and in Barcelona, where I lived for almost 5 years, but also in Milan. One of my customers in Milan was the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce, for whom I taught in-company classes in German.
My classes are results-oriented and you, the student, are the focus of each lesson. Your satisfaction matters the most to me: I'll listen to your needs and find the thing that works best for you. What kind of classes do I offer? I can prepare you for an exam or a job interview, we can boost your speaking or writing skills, work on your grammar and I can explain topics that are not clear in a very easy way. I have all the material for our classes, you won't need to bring anything but a notebook to class :) I teach beginners to advanced students and I still love teaching after many years.
Among my passions are personal growth and yoga, I also manage a blog on personal growth in Italian. I've been in the field for about 12 years now and I keep learning new cool things on mindset and business growth.
