I started to play guitar studying reggae music, rock, gypsy jazz and blues. I rapidly started to share with several people until I created my own band. We were playing blues and blues-rock covers for 5 years. I arrived in Sevilla 5 years ago to learn about flamenco and its guitar technics. I've been playing guitar for 18 years, so I know a lot of tricks to help you improve your technical, improvisational, compositional and harmonical skills. Depending on the pupil knowledge, I give some technical exercises (with pick or finger picking style), and we will study chords, details and guitar solos from a song that we will choose together. I can teach you the construction of chords, the reading of tablature, and useful harmony basics. We can dedicate a part of the session to the carefully listening a song, or to discover the sounds possibilities of the electric or the acoustic guitar. The aim of my classes is to enjoy playing your instrument thanks to a better knowledge, a better understanding of your guitar and the multiple ways you can play it. Although, I think it's very important to stimulate your creativity in order to find your musical identity and your own sound. The student can film or record all he needs during the class, if it helps him to study for the next session. The purpose of the first class is to meet one another and talk about what you expect from the classes, what you want to study, to improve, to learn, and evaluate your level. You don't need to know about music theory to start with my classes.
