About me

I am Serena, I have got 7 years of experience teaching languages, I used to teach in Australia, Rome and now in Barcelona where I live, I have been living in Spain for 10 years. I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting and I have recently ended a master degree in Computational Linguistics. I provide my students with all books they need, and I also create exercises for each student using the vocabulary they need to learn the most. I have also experience as a translator, interpreter and language data analyst in artificial intelligence (machine learning), I basically taught Italian to virtual assistants. I love theatre, movies, music and art in general and I often use them to teach, but I am also open to use any students interest, I actually always adapt my lessons to students’ goals, level and interests. Me gustan mucho sus clases, fácil de seguir, y con contenido variado

Buena profesora. Planifica las clases conforme a las necesidades del alumno haciéndolas muy dinámicas. Al menos en mi caso, seguimos un libro de gramática conforme a mi nivel de italiano y lo completa con ejercicios que prepara teniendo en cuenta mis intereses (aprovecha para meter vocabulario relacionado con mi trabajo) y aquellos aspectos donde debo mejorar. También, adapta el ritmo de la clases conforme a facilidad o dificultad que pueda t ... ener en la comprensión de las lecciones.

Muy buena profesora que se adapta a tu peticiones y necesidades! Organiza bien las clases, mezclando diferente tipo de actividades y explicaciones. También me gusta el ritmo que lleva para poder aprovechar la hora al completo. El hecho de que hable y entienda español facilita alguna de las explicaciones.

Hasta el momento solo hemos tenido los primero 20 Min. Pero durante todo el tiempo fue siempre muy amable y me explico claramente como podrían ser nuestras clases. Se noto que su forma de llevar las clases es mucho más tranquila y relajada, hizo las preguntas pertinentes para darme una primera visión de como estructurar nuestras clases.
