I’m Samuel Beddoe, a process development chemist with over five years of research experience, including two and a half years in the pharmaceutical industry. I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton, where I developed a strong foundation in synthetic chemistry, electrochemistry, and solar materials. During my time at Concept Life Sciences, I honed my skills in process optimization, scale-up chemistry, and the purification of small molecules, managing to handle complex and novel chemical APIs with ease. My passion for teaching began during my studies and grew significantly while leading innovation projects and mentoring students during their industrial placements. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to guide others through complex chemical processes and witness their growth and development first-hand.
