About me

My name is Tutor Renee. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, although my professional background is in Marketing and Communication. I am an online English teacher and have been for three years. I teach both children and adults. I have extensive experience speaking and writing English, having headed various companies in their marketing, sales, and communication departments. I love making English fun and simple. I ensure that my students are confident enough to speak and write English. One of my main accomplishments is that about 80% of my students who I have taught Conversational and Business English - particularly for job interviews - have performed very well. My students excel and pass their IELTS and TOEFL exams. I use simple PowerPoint presentations, whiteboard sheets, YouTube videos, and articles. I use topics that interest my students. My emphasis is on my students speaking as much as possible to help develop fluency in speaking English. I focus on both oral and written skills. I speak slowly so that my students gain a good understanding of what I am teaching. I also use simple stories with hand gestures to make it easier for my students to visualize and engage with me. My classes are very interactive, fun, and memorable.
