En las asignaturas de ciencias, y muy especialmente en matemáticas, es muy común enseñar a calcular, a aplicar fórmulas y a resolver problemas de forma mecánica, sin entrar en por qué un problema se resuelve de una manera o de otra. Cuando entré al instituto, tuve la suerte de que el profesor que me dio clase en 1º de ESO "me descubriese" y me propusiese para preparar la prueba de acceso al proyecto ESTALMAT, donde la matemática se enseña, también por profesores de enseñanzas medias, vista desde otros ojos, de manera que aquellos alumnos que consiguen entrar descubren un mundo nuevo. Durante los tres años que participé de ESTALMAT me di cuenta de que aquella forma de estimular el talento matemático estaba reservada a unos pocos privilegiados (25 alumnos con "predisposición natural por la matemática). Mi deber y mi objetivo como docente particular, más allá de ayudarte a aprobar el examen, es incentivar la curiosidad y enseñar a pensar. Si estudias ESO o Bachillerato, aún estás a tiempo de descubrir el mundo de las matemáticas, más allá de la regla de tres compuesta. ¿Empezamos?
