Hi,I am a neat and methodical teacher, I like to establish goals and to plan objetives and learning development, and to have my students do the same with its practice on their own time,
the repertoire and even the order of some priorities.I preffer the material chosen to learn to be of the liking of the student, I am intersted that my students have theorical and practical domain of the instrument, and i feel the same about the English learning. I like to offer material to develop and to obtein grammar information.
I have over 25 years of experience teaching in academies, schools and universtities. I consider myself a patient teacher and I feel i have a special touch when it comes to pick material and work strategies for each one of my students. I have taught music of all kinds, from popular music to classical music, this includes genres like Rock, Pop, Tango, Heavy metal, Vallenato, Rancheras, Salsa, Merengue, Folklore, and I have always been open to learn about new genres. I studied in the Universidad Autònoma of Bucaramanga in Colombia UNAB, always keeping excellent grades that allowed me to have a scholarship to contribute to my registration payments. I was part of the University Choral group for four years, so i learned and am able to teach vocal technique, my vocal range is bass and baritone. I have experience teaching big and small groups of people and also teaching personalized lessons, which i preffer because i think that this type of lessons allow the student to advance faster and to adapt my teaching skills to the strategies that each student needs.
