I am Italian, from Milan, where I have lived almost all my life, now I'm living in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona.
I am currently working as Italian, Latín, Ancient Greek and Spanish teacher in company and one-to-one.
I also work in translations from English, Spanish and French to Italian, and as a journalist in an Italian magazine of scientific divulgation.
I speak Italian (native), English, French and Spanish (the three at advanced level), German and Catalan (basic).
I have academic background, having studied Philosophy (Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia), Greek, Latin and other humanistic disciplines (Liceo Classico).
Since 1998 I have been also working in web design, and since then I have produced dozens of websites, as a designer, layout designer and developer, also dealing with narrative, copywriting, graphics, audio and video editing, creation of logos, posters, and in general, the entire company image for several clients.
Along with professional stage writing activity as a scriptwriter I have dealt with narrative and role-playing design, creating stories, texts and graphics for important gaming platforms of fantastic genre.
I deal with the topic in a structured way starting from pronunciation, grammar and syntax, with particular attention to verbal and written communication and to the linguistic and cultural context of the country of reference.
The lessons from the beginning are based on frequent pronunciation, accent and prosody exercises, to get the student used to the peculiarities of the typical oral expression of the Italian language.
The study of grammar and syntax is regularly integrated with a series of exercises, tasks and conversation sessions dedicated to the last topics discussed.
My particular interest is to teach students the language currently spoken in Italy with reference also to the cultural, literary and artistic tradition of the country, for a more complete understanding of the language and its specificities.
