About me

Hey!!My name is Lisa Depardon, I am a native French speaker born and raised in France. I moved to the UK a few years ago and had to go through the process of learning a new language myself and I know how tricky that can be! As someone who has gone through this experience, I have a deep, personal understanding of the challenges and rewards involved in acquiring a new language. This experience has given me valuable insight into the learning process, enabling me to empathise with students. Having navigated the complexities of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural nuances, I am well-equipped to teach a language from both a practical and theoretical perspective! Furthermore, working as a skating instructor for a few years really helped me acquire efficient and friendly teaching skills. Over the years, I have tutored family members, friends, and others in my community, assisting them with French at various levels, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and university French studies.
