Hello, my name is Li Juan(Isabella). I’m from Hunan province, China. I majored in elementary education for five years and studied the Chinese language and Chinese literature. 8 years ago after graduation, I found my first job teaching in a primary school. Ever since then, I have been enjoying teaching. In my spare time, I love helping my foreign friends with their Chinese. Chinese culture and teaching always fascinate me a great deal, so I am eager to spread them. What is more, is that I have a love for Chinese calligraphy and traditional Chinese paintings. With over 7 years of teaching, I feel deeply that interest is the most important for learning anything. If you lose interest and have no desire to learn, you will not achieve the desired results and learning will become a burden and painful. Chinese is particularly interesting and I will make my students love the language and my Chinese lessons. At the same time, I believe that the most important thing in learning a language is to use it and to be able to communicate with people. In my teaching, I will encourage my students to speak and use it boldly and not to be afraid to make mistakes; we will grow and learn from them.
