Tout d'abord je prends connaissance des ressources à dispositions de l'élève (cours de son prof, exercices, devoirs surveillés, devoirs maison...) afin de voir avec lui ce qui lui pose problème. Ensuite, pour chaque problème rencontré, je lui propose d'essayer de trouver une solution par lui-même en le guidant avec des indices. S'il ne parvient toujours pas à trouver alors je lui montre une solution puis je lui fais découvrir des variantes. À chaque étape de mes démonstrations j'invite l'élève à me poser des questions afin de s'assurer qu'il comprend bien. Puis à l'issue de chaque séance je lui propose des exercices complémentaires.
