Jacobo

Hello! My name is Jacobo Rouces, I have a Ph.D in Computer Science from Aalborg University in Denmark, a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a BSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain. I've worked as Assistant Professor at Gothenburg University, doing research within artificial intelligence and computational linguistics, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in programming, data science and computational linguistics. I have supervised and co-supervised Master and PhD students. Some years ago I moved to the countryside for a change of lifestyle, and since then I have worked as a consultant and freelancer teacher in computer science and programming, computational linguistics, mathematics (high school/gymnasium and undergrad college level within some fields). Due to my background in computational linguistics and my personal interest in linguistics and languages, I have also been teaching languages: currently Spanish and English, both general purpose and academic language.
