I teach since 2016. During 2018 and 2019, I taught the piano for little groups of children. I know how to play classical music as much as I can teach popular music. My methodology is based on achieve a unique relationship with the instrument, using different techniques to get the better sound. My objective with my students, is that they can learn the songs or pieces that they like, to make more enjoyable the learning, so it’s not rigid.
In my classes, we talk about harmony and musical language, and we also learn some notions of musical appreciation. With all of this knowledge, we can make a coherent learning, so we can know why we play some song in one way and why that song has those notes or chords.
The posture, hands independence are things that we are going to know class by class, but, the most important thing it to have fun. We all know that music is excellence, but we know that it’s also enjoyment, and we can share sensations and feelings.
Finally, I want to say that I study to be a teacher because it fills my soul explaining all my knowledge and also enlarging it, because in a class, both parts learns.
