About me

Hello, my name is Erick. I'm from Cuba, but I'm currently living in Barcelona, Spain. Before, I lived three years in Mexico. I studied Art History in my country and I was a professor at the University of Havana until I left Cuba in 2018. I taught Contemporary Art History and Art Theory. I also studied German Language and worked as a tourist guide for two years in Cuba and teacher of basic courses (2 years as well). My classes are usually the result of a compromise between what the students want to achieve as a goal in language proficiency and my proposals in this respect. I tend to emphasize grammar and vocabulary, I manage the classes based on the thematic interests of the students, always moving from the simplest to the most complex and with special attention to the conversational. I will be happy to put my experience as a teacher at your service, so that you can achieve what you set out to do.
