With a degree in Humanities with a focus on history, a Medieval Historian and a Diplomate of the Alessandra Galante Garrone School of Theater in Bologna, I try to pass my passion on my students as I believe it is the primary purpose of a teacher to be able to communicate and spark interest in the subject. History has always been a great passion of mine, while my love for Italian and Latin has developed over the course of my scholastic and academic years. I am also involved in theater pedagogy, with classes in acting, diction and public speaking. Having soft skills helps me establishing a relationship based on dialogue and discussion.
Lessons, both in-person and online, start first and foremost from understanding any difficulties o and respecting gaps that may arise from many factors that surround the person in daily life (school, work, social contexts). Thus, I try to be able to provide and apply different methodology based on the needs. Lessons last 60 minutes with a theoretical part and a practical part (possible exercises, text writing, logical syntactic and grammatical skills).
For elocution, reading and public speaking classes, lessons start with phonetics, studying IPA and the morphology of our phonatory apparatus, and then move on to analysis and reading exercises, also learning basic elements for debate and public speaking.
