About me

Ciao! My name is Denis; I am a proud and enthusiastic Italian native speaker. I am a PhD psychology student in the UK and want to spread my Italianess! I have had many online students in the past years of all ages and interests, and I have developed a strong and fun programme to teach Italian while studying topics that interest you. I have extensive experience as a language teacher in schools, which has allowed me to develop and improve my teaching methods. In addition, I worked for several years as an actor and director in the theatre industry in Italy, which allowed me to focus on Italian elocution. My teaching methodology is different for all levels. My lessons aim to allow everyone to start speaking Italian! For beginners, I would like to focus on grammar and understanding the fundamental structures of sentences, as I think this is the base for starting to speak Italian. I want to focus primarily on speaking skills for advanced levels, using different and exciting topics every time. Thanks to my drama experience, I would love to focus on the correct elocution of Italian. Finally, I can adapt to student needs and interests and make the lessons interesting and valuable every time!
