Hello, my name is Carmelo. I am Spanish from the Canary Islands but I have lived in the Netherlands for more than 26 years. Specifically in the Hague. I have worked in marketing for many years and now I intend to teach Spanish. It is something I did in the past and with great pleasure. Now I feel like doing it again. I have taken an ELE course at Rey Juan Carlos University to catch up and I plan to continue learning. I just did a Spanish grammar workshop for teachers. And I'm going to start another ELE that will give me a university degree. I also have a BA in Hispanic Philology. I really like reading, the movies, the beach, walking in nature, traveling, visiting museums, art, architecture, having interesting conversations, cooking, etc. As I said at the beginning years ago I gave Spanish classes here in Holland and then I was working in marketing. Now I would like to teach online as I want to work from home. I am fluent in English and Dutch and I have knowledge of French and German. I was also a high school teacher many years ago. In principle I would like to teach beginner and intermediate level students. Later I would also like to teach advanced level students. I would also like to teach conversation classes for students with an intermediate-advanced level. The method I am going to use (method D4) has been specially designed for online classes and is eminently communicative. The grammar explanations are very simple and gradual. The intention is that the students from the first class begin to speak in Spanish.
