About me

Hello! I'm Allen Marie Arriesgado, a 25-year-old Language Assistant living in Santiago de Compostela. I got a bachelor’s degree of elementary education, major in general, content with a specialization in technology and livelihood education in the Philippines. I always love teaching since then. I experienced being an English teacher in a language school. Yes, you heard it right. I worked as a part time ESL teacher in one of the ESL schools in my home country. I started my teaching experience in a Language School where I taught foreign people various English courses. Therefore, I have met different students with their varied cultures, beliefs and traditions in life, and I consider it one of the best teaching experiences. I find joy in teaching. My heart is full whenever I share my knowledge and experiences. And whenever I teach, I always bear in mind allowing my students to see the mistakes and imperfections as part of the process. The goal is not to have a perfect learning process, but to have an enriching teaching learning process wherein I will keep an open mind and I will keep communicating my students despite the mistakes and imperfections, because I believe these mistakes and imperfections will help us learn, nurture and grow as a person.
