Hello! My name is Adrien, and I am a drummer and accomplished podcast producer. My journey in music commenced during my childhood, when I first explored the world of percussion before advancing to playing drums. I honed my skills as a sound engineer at Pulse College in Dublin, and later graduated from the Superior Conservatory of Barcelona, where I specialized in jazz drums and modern music.
In addition to my podcast production career, my musical journey has been a vibrant and diverse one. I have had the pleasure of performing as a percussionist in a harmonic orchestra, a timpanist in the university symphony orchestra of Clermont-Ferrand, and a drummer in a big band, along with various jazz configurations including quartets and trios. I also enhanced my understanding of global musical styles through immersive studies during my travels to Ireland, Senegal, and Brazil.
I have had the rewarding experience of teaching music through numerous private lessons for both children and adults. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's individual skill level, personal objectives, and interests. My primary objective is to foster a sense of joy in playing music, which in turn catalyzes more effective learning.
In addition to drum lessons, I offer comprehensive music theory classes. These lessons aim to deepen your understanding of the structures and principles that underpin music, offering a more profound appreciation of the art form.
I welcome you to book a class with me so we can discuss the musical milestones you aspire to achieve. Together, we will outline a comprehensive program to reach your goals, but more importantly, we will take actionable steps to bring this program to life!
