My name is Aaron, I’m a native English speaker from Newcastle-upon-Tyne (with a neutral accent) and I have been teaching for the past 8 years. I have a degree in combined English language and literature, as well as multiple other certificates such as courses on the science of language acquisition. I currently work for St. George’s , a prestigious academy here in Bilbao, where I have students from as young as six years old all the way up to adults. I specialise in Cambridge examination preparation and have been teaching levels A2-C2 my whole career, with many satisfied students. I always make sure that the courses I prepare are relevant, interesting, and tailored to you so my classes don’t feel like boring exam repetition. I teach not only the language points to get you through your exams, but the tricks and methods to make the process much easier. For the past 5 years I have also been dedicated to designing and offering specialised intensive courses for the FCE and CAE exams with great success. Aside from accent correction, I tend not to use readings or exercises in class. I believe that your time in class with me is best spent getting comfortable with spoken English and I provide personalised materials and coaching to help you outside of class. I also speak Spanish fluently, so I understand what it’s like to learn a language and can help with common mistakes Spanish speakers may make.
