Hello! My name is Yasmin, and I am passionate about helping students excel in their studies. With experience in teaching English and Maths to kids through voluntary positions, I specialize in Maths and programming, particularly Python. I can also assist with the basics of using Excel. During my primary school years, I enjoyed helping my classmates understand challenging Maths concepts. More recently, I've supported my little brother with his homework and helped university classmates with programming in our foundation year. Teaching Style: My teaching approach focuses on practical examples to illustrate concepts clearly. I explain theories and, if needed, use different examples to ensure thorough understanding. I believe in adapting my methods to suit the unique needs of each student. Achievements: Certificate of participation in the ACE Red Project, where I taught English and Maths to children. Introduction to Microsoft Excel project certificate from Coursera. Currently completing the Crash Course on Python by Google on Coursera to further validate my programming skills. Personal Attributes: I am patient and good with children, using various methods, including visual aids, to enhance learning. I enjoy being a part of the learning journey, ensuring that students feel supported and motivated.
