Hello! My name is Marebecca, a 34 year old ESL tutor from Lesotho, a beautiful country in the Southern Africa. I hold a bachelor of education degree with majors in English language and Literature in English, I am also certified to teach English (TEFL).I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor, with a passion for helping learners of English achieve their language aspirations. I have been teaching English as a second language for several years now, and I find great joy in witnessing my students progress and having confidence in using English.
I currently work as a teacher and I have 4 years of teaching experience. In my teaching journey, I have taught high school, elementary and pre school students. As a TEFL-certified instructor, I teach conversational English, pronunciation, grammar and punctuation. When appropriate, I use Total Physical Response (TPR) to improve learning efficacy, another method I employ is Communicative Language Teaching ( CLT), which promotes authentic and meaningful communication. In my classroom, students are encouraged to actively participate in speaking and listening exercises, to enhance their language skills.
I am an unquestionably capable instructor,who can provide you with high-quality instructions. My lessons focus on you the student, with interactive activities that make learning enjoyable. To demonstrate the usefulness of the lessons, I adapt my teaching style, pace and content to match your preferred learning style and goals.
