My teaching method is student centred and flexible, designed to meet individual learning styles and needs. I start by assessing where each student is in their mathematical journey, whether they’re struggling with foundational concepts or advancing to more complex topics. From there, I break down the material into bite-sized, digestible lessons, using clear explanations and real-world examples that connect math to everyday life. I avoid overwhelming my students with jargon, instead using visual aids, interactive tools, and step-by-step explanations to make abstract concepts concrete and relatable.
One of my core beliefs is that math should not feel like a daunting subject. I encourage a growth mindset, where mistakes are viewed as opportunities for learning rather than failures. In my classes, students are encouraged to ask questions, make connections, and explore different problem-solving strategies. I emphasise the importance of practice, persistence, and critical thinking—skills that are vital both in math and in life.
