I always aim for the best and simplest solution to solve a problem and that is what I try to encourage my students to do, using common sense as well as our knowledge, after all, we weren´t born knowing finance and I was once in your position or perhaps not even that well. In our first lesson, we need to get to know each other, I want to know what your needs are and you need to know what I am planning to do to get you there, just keep in mind that since finance is a very wide subject, it would be very helpful if you can bring some examples or questions from class so we know where to start.
