Hello everyone! I'm Delia from Shanghai, China, currently studying at Shanghai Business School and my major is Business English.I’m working part-time as a student journalist now.
I've been teaching Chinese for one year.
In the class, we will focus on creating effective language environments to guide students to use grammar, and teach students to use Chinese naturally in natural communication and discussion.
The textbook we use in class is "Survival Chinese 15 Lessons", which is aimed at solving the listening and speaking needs of daily life communication. There are also books on the Chinese character reading and writing series, such as "Teacher Zhang Teaches Chinese Characters", "Common Radicals of Chinese Characters" and so on.
My students would describe my classes as "an anticipation before class, satisfaction during class, and nostalgia after class."
I love teaching, first, it suits my personality, I am lively by nature, have a wide range of interests, and are helpful. Second, I like challenging work, and although the education work is complicated, it can satisfy my sense of accomplishment. Finally, I hope that I can help more people who want to learn Chinese, so that they have more opportunities to learn about this beautiful language, this beautiful country.
Book a trial lesson with me and we will discuss your goals together and create your own plan for your goals so that we can complete it better! I’m look forward to seeing you all!

I offer a free consultation to every student, and the first lesson is free! I will tailor my course based on the individual needs of each student. You are welcome to consult with me!
My lessons are primarily based on HSK textbooks, although I do incorporate elements from other Mandarin textbooks. HSK is the official standard by which non-native Mandarin speakers are judged in China. After taking my lessons, my students will be able to acquire an official HSK certificate which will be recognised by all agencies in China.
I know that Chinese characters have always been the most scary part for students learning Chinese, so I have my own way of using pictures and tracing their origins to help students easily understand these characters.
For children, I will use age-appropriate teaching materials. I will engage them actively in the classroom through games, music, and pictures, to help them love learning Chinese!
I also give homework to my students, but it's not mandatory. It's just to help them review and practice what they've learned. There's no pressure to complete my homework.

I prefer to regard foreign language learning as a kind of interest, a kind of happiness. Confucius said that those who know are worse than those who are good, and those who are good are not as good as those who are happy. Learning a foreign language can make us more confident and express ourselves more calmly. What I get the most in foreign language classes is happiness, this pure love of foreign languages. I hope that the people around me can also like to speak foreign languages and like to learn foreign languages. Just thinking about the teacher should not just be a machine for lecturing, but should teach students how to think and how to do it by themselves. I may be inclined to let the students do it by themselves, no matter how well they do it or not, do it by themselves first, and then I will repeat it, see the difference between the teacher's thinking and the students' thinking, and then reflect on the answer to this question. What are we testing ourselves? There is a process of forming one's own thinking. How do I stand out, the answer is love. I firmly believe in my love and keep my love. When I share my favorite foreign language learning, the whole person will have a different state. My high school classmates said, "When I speak a foreign language, there is light in my eyes." I know that only by sharing what I love and love will I shine. No matter how powerful competitors are, we should all find our confidence and self-confidence. No matter how high or low education, family background, or honor, love will make you enjoy every moment, forget tension and anxiety, and immerse yourself in present.
