Hello.
I am teacher Donnae.
I am from the beautiful sunny South Africa.
I have a higher certificate in Chemical Plant Operations, the field in which i have had most of my work experience.
I am also a certified TEFL tutor ,I have a 120 hour TEFL certification.
I am new to the online teaching arena ,however I have tutored other subjects like Physics and Biology to many High school students ,who I have helped successfully improve their results with diligent work and practice.
I cater my lessons to the individual needs of each student ; to meet them where they are in their journey to learn English, and achieve their goals.

Title: "Introduction to Basic Algebra"
Slide :1
Name: Maheen Waqar
"Hello, I’m Maheen Waqar. With a strong background in math, I’m passionate about helping students simplify and enjoy complex concepts. Today, we'll explore the basics of algebra."
Objectives:
Understand what variables and expressions are.
Learn how to solve simple algebraic equations.
Apply algebra to solve real-life problems.
What is Algebra?
Definition: "Algebra is a branch of math that uses symbols and letters to represent numbers and quantities in equations."
Visual: Show examples like and .
Interactive Question: "Have you ever used a formula in real life? Think about recipes, budgets, etc."
Variables and Constants
Explanation: "In algebra, variables are symbols that stand in for unknown values, like or . Constants are fixed values, like 5 or 10."
Example: "In the equation , is a variable, and 5 and 10 are constants."
Practice Question: "If , what is ?"
Solving Simple Equations
Step-by-Step Example:
1. Example: Solve .
2. Step 1: Subtract 3 from both sides.
3. Step 2: .
Interactive Problem: Ask students to solve on their own.
Practice Problems
Problem 1: (Solution: )
Problem 2: (Solution: )
Problem 3: (Solution: )
Encourage: Work through each problem step-by-step with the students.
Real-Life Application
Example: "If you have $20 and you want to buy 3 identical items and have $5 left, how much can each item cost?"
Equation Setup: .
Solution: Walk through solving for
Summary and Key Takeaways
Summary: Today, we learned about variables, constants, and basic equation solving."
Key Points:
Variables represent unknown values.
Constants are fixed values.
Solving equations involves isolating the variable
Homework/Additional Practice
Exercise 1: Solve .
Exercise 2: If , find .
Exercise 3: Create an equation for a real-life problem, such as budgeting.
Let me know if you'd like more details or modifications for any specific slide! This structure is designed to showcase your teaching clarity, engagement methods, and math expertise.

My Background:
Preparatory classes for top engineering schools over 2 years
Master’s degree (M2) in Mathematics, Mechanical Design, and Physics
Engineering degree from the École Supérieure de Micromécanique d’Horlogerie de Besançon
Specialized master’s degree from SUPAERO Toulouse (equivalent to Bac+6) in Innovation for Energy and Aerodynamic Calculations
I’m Lucas, 27 years old, and a tutor alongside my engineering studies. Today, I’m fully dedicated to supporting students as an independent teacher, using my expertise in mathematics and physics to help them progress.
My Specialty: Guiding my students to mastery by fostering strong autonomy and helping them build confidence for exams.
My unique journey — former musician in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Monaco, entrepreneur in energy innovation, and ex-tennis player — has instilled in me a rigorous and resilient mindset. This diverse experience taught me to tackle challenges with perseverance, a quality I pass on to my students so they never give up, no matter the obstacles.
My Goal? To help each student develop a disciplined, resilient mindset, equipping them to face any academic challenge and beyond. Could it be that the student might no longer need me in the end? That’s exactly the outcome I aim for!

From answering questions and giving explanations to coming up with creative ideas and providing study assistance across a wide range of disciplines, I am here to help. I'm here to provide a digital helping hand if you need it in arithmetic.
I'm here to help you ace your mathematics exam from grades 1-to 8, O-Level/IGCSE, A-level.
I have 4-5 years of experience in teaching offline & online in Teaching maths, business Finance, Investment analysis & corporate Finance. I teaching students each topic/concept from the scratch, using multiple examples, real life cases, worksheets, exercise etc. My students are from Year 1 till Year 13, that all have been very satisfied with their performance, level of understanding and their grades.
Elementary math
Extremely confident with elementary maths, by working with me you'll definitely find this part of mathematics very easy! Book your trials to get great results
Math for kids
I love to make maths as easy for kids as possible since developing a strong basis is very important! booking your trials would make you know for sure.
Calculus
I have been studying engineering which involves several mathematic subjects, calculus was the first subject i studied and helped my classmates with. I achieved an A grade in it and I am pretty sure that with my experiences learning calculus will be very easy for you. Book your trials to find out more about this.
GCSE Math
I completed my Highschool in 2017 and since then I've studied way more advanced subjects than GCSE maths, hence the various teaching experiences alongside my own A grade in it, I can make sure to cater to your needs with it.
Math for preschoolers
Teaching maths using creative patterns is a must, for preschoolers using activities like games and rewarding quizzes is hugely encouraging for them, this way they'll start loving maths from an early age! Do book your trials to seek my help and enjoy mathematics.
Trigonometry
Trigonometry is a fun part of mathematics that gives us a lot of knowledge about lengths and angles. I really enjoy teaching this and hopefully if this subject is taught well enough it gives a lot of practical ideas to the student in daily life scenarios.
Functions
I've taught several of my students about functions and functions can be a very interesting topic if taught properly, rest assured you'll enjoy learning it from me, book your trials to get as much help as possible.

I teach in a friendly way which includes not building any kind of pressure on the student. I teach in an environment where the students won't hesitate to ask me any questions. Strictness, only when needed. I have a good hold on my subjects. Even if a problem occurs repeatedly, the students can ask me the same as many times as you want. Extra prepration, notes, problem solving from extra books, everything is provided. No objection at all! Give it a try. Hop in for a free demo class. You won't be disappointed😄
