I perform regularly in important theatres and festivals such as La Scala in Milan, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Petruzzelli in Bari, Verdi in Trieste, Regio in Turin, Festival of Taormina, Bayerische Staatsoper, Opéra de Lyon, Opéra de Strasbourg, Festival d'Aix en Provence, Teatro Real de Madrid; but also in Austria, Switzerland, Poland, China and Japan. I make my technical and interpretative knowledge available both to beginners who want to approach the world of Opera and to students who want to perfect themselves in view of competitions, auditions, with the aim of starting an artistic career. My motto is: who speaks well sings well. In fact, my method aims at finding the best resonance and projection of the voice according to the subjective body characteristics, through the development of conscious breathing, but above all by exploiting the intrinsic sound qualities of the Italian language, which the great poet Dante defined as "Là dove 'l si suona" (There where it sounds) precisely to underline its innate musicality. It is no coincidence that Italian is the language par excellence of opera in the world. My name is Ohad Niceberg, I'm a 23 years old Guitarist, I grew up in Israel to a musical family, from age 7 I played classical piano, and when I was 11, I started playing Guitar. I studied in Israel at 'Ironi Alef High School of Arts', there I really started getting into Jazz, I also studied with the legendary Shlomo Ydov. After this I studied at The New School in New York. Today I live part time in New York and playing in the Jazz scene there, and part time in Tel Aviv. I have experience teaching a lot of different students, so if you're a beginner that just want to learn to play your favorite songs, or an advanced player that want to enhance your Jazz playing abilities, both works for me :) I also teach basic piano, theory, ear training and solfege.
