Yelena

Hi! My name is Yelena, I am 33 years old and live in Brussels. Having grown up in a multilingual environment (Italian mom, Russian dad and born in Germany), I have always been fascinated by languages. I believe that knowing more than one language opens up not only communication with more people, but also a deeper understanding of the human soul. I have been teaching since 2016, and for each of my students I have used a unique and tailor-made approach. The lesson is structured according to the needs and specifics of the student. Over the years I have taught people with a wide variety of goals: passing a university exam, working with Russian-speaking clients, communicating with an Eastern European girlfriend, and even reading Brodsky in the original (I swear!). Learning materials are provided by me and include: grammar sheets, exercises, photos, videos, audio. My multilingualism allows me to understand what difficulties strangers have in learning Russian and to explain how it works in a clear and simple way!
