About me

Professor with university experience in Calculus and Probability and Statistics.

I am a chemical engineer, with postgraduate degrees in applied statistics and actuarial science and a master's degree in biostatistics and bioinformatics. I am also a webmaster and software developer certified by Microsoft. I have ten years of teaching experience in several universities in Bogota in probability and statistics and the different calculus such as differential, integral, differential equations and multivariable. Other areas I have taught: numerical methods, linear algebra, basic mathematics, financial mathematics, programming with Visual Basic, programming with matlab, algorithms and programming with Python and Java, mechanical physics. In probability and statistics I have a specialized theoretical-practical methodology already tested for several semesters with my university students, with resources such as interactive activities and the use of software such as Excel, R, Python, geogebra and Matlab according to the student's interests. I am currently developing more material and learning resources in probability and statistics, also addressing the approach to actuarial sciences and data science with Machine Learning and Deep Learning using R and Python with Keras and Tensorflow.
